Transports

Our school provides the students with comfortable, well maintained buses. Keeping in view the safety and security of our learners, the buses are equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS), Speed Governors, Cameras and First Aid kit. Our school buses are driven by experienced drivers and manned by reliable conductors. All employees have background checks and police verification. All our bus drivers and conductors are periodically trained on traffic rules and regulations.

Each bus has a driver, guard and a lady attendant and bus in-charges accompanying the students. Besides ensuring the implementation of the safety norms, all staff on the bus is well trained in first aid and emergency management. The guards carry school mobiles and can be tracked easily through this medium as well. The routes of the school buses are framed keeping in mind the needs of the parents. The transport facility is available to the students strictly on first come first serve basis.

Safety:

The first pick up and last drop in each route is either a teacher or a lady guard. All students are under the watchful eye of a responsible adult at all points of time.

Codes of Conduct for the Bus Commuters/ the Bus Etiquettes:

Students who avail the school Bus / Transport facility service should report to the assigned pick-up point at least five minutes before the stipulated time. The buses will not wait for any late comers.

Regular attendance is taken by the bus in-charges in the morning and afternoon for students travelling by bus. The teacher in- charges will be present in the bus till the end of the route or until the last child in the bus gets off to ensure the safety of the children travelling in the bus. Students should not stretch their head or hands out of the bus. Bus monitor and Bus Teacher-in-Charge will be responsible for orderly behaviour in the bus. Any serious offence must be reported to the Principal.

A student will not be permitted to board a bus other than the one to which he/she is assigned.

If a student misses his allotted bus, he should not try to board any other bus. It is the responsibility of the parents to drop off their wards to the school. However, the student will return by the allotted bus. Student will board the bus in an orderly manner, giving due priority to younger students. All students must occupy vacant seats immediately after boarding their respective buses. Reservations of seats for co-commuters are not allowed under any circumstances.

Parents are requested to see that the children are escorted to and from the bus stop. If any parent whose child is availing school transport service wishes to take their ward privately in his/her own transport, he/she must collect the Permission Slip from the school authorities half an hour before the end of the last class. Change of bus stop will not be entertained without prior written permission of the school. The students must make sure that the aisle of the bus is clear and school bags/other belongings are placed properly. The Administrative Officer may be contacted in the school, in case of any problem regarding buses. Bus services will be discontinued without further notice for children who do not follow bus rules, damage accessories in the bus, offend passers – by with their actions or words.

Library

A library is a power house of knowledge and an integral part of the cultural and social life of our school. Our school library is uniquely positioned to take a school- and curriculum wide view of resourcing and technology for learning. Our school library provides information and ideas that are fundamental to functioning successfully in today’s information and knowledge based society. It equips students with lifelong learning skills and develops the imagination, enabling them to live as responsible citizens. It is a place for learning and thinking. It helps in supporting and developing literacy and the enjoyment of reading. It is a central point for students to read and access

information.

Laboratory

The intention of high school curriculum is to prepare its students for working or for higher education. The knowledge one attains in a class is ineffective without learning about the methods and processes of research. Science education would not be about science if it did not include opportunities to learn the process.

We follow an innovative approach to teaching as we know that classroom instruction combined with laboratory experience derives the best results. We take pride of our well equipped laboratory with most advanced features in all aspects of science through which we teach our students the modern day technologies and concepts.

The laboratory provides students the opportunity to interact directly with data gathered from the material world. Here is where they will learn how to use tools and experiment with different techniques for collecting data. They will be using models and implement scientific theories. Experiences like this will help improve overall scientific literacy and prepare the next generation of scientists and engineers. The benefit of having innovative science lab equipment in the school is immeasurable. Besides the hands-on experience in lab research and experimentation, students also learn how to make a scientific argument.

Computer Lab

Digital Class Rooms

Smart Classes use digital technology to enhance the learning process. The various audio and visual aids enhance the learning process and make it more fun. The possibilities are endless.

It involves projectors, a computer, and a screen. The system will be preloaded with lessons that utilize visual and auditory learning. Animations and Videos are the most common mediums used to convey information. The lessons can be easily updated according to changes in the curriculum.

Medical Care

Our school clinic is run by Proton healthcare Dr. J.Jamal Mohamed Hameez and Dr. Noora Nafrath personally managing our school clinics. It is staffed during student hours with registered nurses and travelling health clerks. While our focus is to assist in the academic well-being of our students, we also manage emergencies and acute illnesses, as well as chronic health conditions. The clinic staff offers disease based education and resources to students and families when necessary. We work as a team with the education staff to insure the health and safety of each child.

Security

We have appointed alert and responsible guards at the gate to screen the visitors and restrict the entry. The school is entirely under CCTV Surveillance.
