A four day career assessment programme was organized at our school for higher secondary students in collaboration with ExtraMarks, an online learning platform. Its aim was to assist students in exploring and understanding their career interests, strengths, and potential career paths. The programme consisted of various assessments, including aptitude tests, personality assessments, and interest inventories. These assessments were administered to all higher secondary students (Boys and Girls)
The programme was designed to help students gain insights into their own skills, abilities, and preferences, and to provide them with guidance in making informed decisions about their future careers. The assessments were conducted in a controlled environment, ensuring the reliability and validity of the results. Trained professionals from ExtraMarks facilitated the programme and provided individual feedback sessions to students to discuss their results.
Overall, the career assessment programme was well-received by both students and staff. It provided students with a valuable opportunity to explore their interests and strengths, and to gain clarity about their career goals. The feedback sessions allowed students to discuss their results with professionals and receive guidance on suitable career paths based on their assessment outcomes.
